Renee Forero    Ms. Renee Forero

Ms. Renee attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln where she studied Elementary Education. When she moved to Virginia she took a job outside of her education studies in the field of property management. She was employed in property management for fifteen years until the birth of her daughter. Her most valuable experience with children has been more hands on starting with family. She enjoys being an active Aunt in the lives of her nieces and nephew. She enjoyed many weekends "playing Mommy" and learning from them. The helped her prepare for her most beloved role of Mother to her own two wonderful children Juliana and Joshua. Raising her children alongside of her husband Franco has been the most rewarding and educational experience of her life.

Ms. Renee has been working at Daytime Playtime since 2011. Surrounding herself with other women who love children is a constant inspiration for Ms. Renee. She learns from them daily and loves our DTPT family. She strongly believes that the preschool years in a child's life are extremely important. Building a strong foundation in the love of learning and developing healthy social interaction skills will carry them throughout their education. She feels privileged to be a part of that development.

In her spare time she loves being with her family. She enjoys "hanging out" doing girl things with her daughter and tossing a football with her son. Her husband and she enjoy a quiet evening at home together talking to each other about their day. That is always a special time in her day. In her "me" time she enjoys reading. She loves a good book. So if she is not in the middle of "the best book ever" she will be at a book store looking for one. As a family she spends several weeks of the year in the Outer Banks at her family's beach house. In the fall and spring, you will find her at Long Park on the sidelines of her children's soccer games. Her husband coaches and she cheers from the sidelines. She usually runs into a friend or two of mine from Daytime Playtime.

Ms. Renee embraces the challenge of teaching the children alongside Ms. Lisa. She has a deep respect for her teaching style and she is thrilled to be working with her again this year. She knows that their class is going to thrive both academically and socially.
