This summer, we are happy to offer some very unique camps for our students. We have a variety of camps for two different age groups. We are offering half-day camps and full day camps. These camps are entertaining, informative and fun. Our older group camps are focused on engaging students to explore, discover, work in teams, imagine and experience in a fun and creative way so they won’t even notice they are learning new skills and facts! We will begin registration for currently enrolled DTPT families including siblings the week of March 12th and open enrollment will begin March 19th..

Cost of Summer Camps at DTPT:

This year we will be offering 3 different camp options.

5 days a week (M-F) am or pm sessions:  $165.00 a week.

3 days a week (T-W-TH) am or pm sessions:  $100.00 a week.

1 day a week/drop in session am or pm: $40.00 a day

Full day camps are available for 5 days a week:  $240.00 a week (Parent must provide Lunch)

Discounts: We offer 10% discount for any family enrolling two or more children as well as enrolling a child for two or more camps. The discount will be applied to the second and consecutive camps.  Please note you most register for all camps at the same time to receive the discount.  No discounts will be giving if enrolling in multiples camps separately.

Referrals: Please help us to pass the word that DTPT is going to be having wonderful unique summer camps and if you refer a friend you will get an extra 10%. Off.  We appreciated your support.   

Outside play: The children will be having outside activities everyday and water will be part of the fun, so please make sure they apply sunscreen before coming to the camp and always bring an extra set of clothes

SUMMER CAMPS PROGRAMS
Eight Weeks of AM & PM camps for children "ages 3-5"
June 11 - August 10

Pirates and Mermaids- Love using your imagination?  This is the perfect camp for that.
Enjoy the beauty of the sea through the pirates and mermaids eyes. We will be creating our own map to find the hidden treasure, building amazing sand castles, singing funny pirates songs and making your our own unique shell art work.

CrAzY Dr. Suess!- Come and enjoy this crazy world created by Dr. Suess. We will be wearing wacky, funny clothes and learning about these amazing stories, while we make our own crafts based on the book that we will be reading each day.

Traveling Around the Word- Ready to get your passport?  Say Cheese!
We will be traveling each day to a different country; exploring their culture, cooking their traditional foods, and learning about the amazing people that lives in our beautiful world.

Cooking With Math & Science- Make fantastic potions and slimy surprises. Mix your own colors and cook up fun treats using math! Shaping young thinkers means teaching kids to ask lots of questions and experiment.
Your child will love making sticky slime, discovering the use for scales, cutting, measuring and using math to tie it all together.

Space Ships and Aliens -This camp will blast off into space on a space ship full of fun and surprises. The astronauts will learn what stars are made of, talk about the planets and make a telescope to look into space. They will also understand why gravity is important here on earth. Stay close because it will be a wild ride.

A Bug’s Life- Some have six legs, some have eighteen eyes and others can spin a web. What are we talking about? Bugs! The bug explorers will learn not only about bugs, but make a bug catcher to discover bugs up close and personal. We will talk about big bugs, dangerous bugs and beautiful bugs. At the end of the camp each bug explorer will have their own bug book to take home.

Life Under the Sea –We’ll explore water currents, bubbles, sand dollars and animals that you will find in the sea through imaginative play, interactive activities and crafts. Your child will learn about the wonder of the ocean, sing and play during this under water adventure.

Enchanted Forest- In a land far, far away we will venture together into an enchanted forest where unicorns and ogres still exist and the tree fairies fly. A place where time forgot and DTPT remembers as our imagination runs where the princesses and knights can’t wait to tell us their stories.  We’ll be on the look-out for trolls and giant ogres as we follow the path that leads us back home!...

Under The Rainforest Canopy- Wear your rain coat and be alert to see all the living creatures inside the rainforest. Gaze up into the top of the trees and see the many magnificent types of birds and look under moss to find what is living there. Just make sure you watch out for the snakes mingled through the vines. 

Winter in July- Dig out your mittens and hat and be ready for the winter snow that will be coming!
We will make our own snow cones and winter treats. Explore the wonders of snow, creating winter wonderland crafts and participate in some winter Olympic games in DTPT extreme Olympics. 

Dino Mania–Designed for the aspiring paleontologist with tons of activities, stories, songs, skill-builders and games centered on the ancient reptiles they love! Make dino arts and crafts, learn the names of favorite dinosaurs, make dino tooth necklaces and even try hatching a dino baby in an egg! This camp is sure to give your little paleontologist a memorable dino adventure.

Capturing Your Memories
Come and enjoy this exciting camp where you learn how to display your pictures in a beautiful colorful book. For one week bring in your pictures from years past to present and learn how to put them in a scrapbook to capture your memories. We will learn how to layer, border, layout and use creativity to make a scrapbook worthy for everyone to look at. You can use this knowledge in years to come because memories will stay forever.

Cooking with Math & Science – We let the young chefs out of the kitchen into the lab to discover the exciting world of food chemistry! Cook your very own example of the featured food every day after investigating the science behind it. Add some tasty science to your summer and let us kick it up a notch. Bam! Allergy note: all recipes will be nuts and peanuts free.

Just Dance- Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to go! The kids will explore the world of dance through motion using different types of techniques. Learn the basics of ballet, jazz, modern and lyrical while understanding how these styles flow together. We will enjoy singing, dancing and creativity in this “rocking” camp. The week will end with a special Wii dance party by the entire class that will be a big hit and will show off what the dancers have learned … you can Bet on it!   

The Deep Blue Sea –We will explore waves, properties of water, sand, shells and learn about how jellyfish, whales, turtles and sharks survive and thrive in the great blue… through imaginative math, science, books and group activities. Discover what sinks and floats, learn how sand is made, hold a real shark tooth and other sea creatures.

Let’s Create Art - There are so many different ways of creating art in the world that we want to explore them in this week long camp. Each day we will explore a new type and make an art piece to represent each one. We will be learning how to work with clay, pastel paints, recycling items and so much more.

Get your hands ready for all the crafts you can make. They are going to be your own master pieces!
